Othalon is an independent device-information and decision-support service. It is not affiliated with the European Commission, EPREL, manufacturers or repair centres. It does not provide hardware diagnoses, expert inspections or guarantees of product life. Official source data remains attributed to its source.
Official data versus Othalon Score
The Longevity Score is an Othalon-derived indicator calculated from available evidence under the published Methodology. It is not an official EU/EPREL score, manufacturer warranty or certain prediction of years of use. Data coverage and missing fields matter; official EU repairability class is shown separately.
Repair or Replace limits
Repair or Replace uses the device evidence available and the issue, repair quote and replacement cost entered by you. It does not independently establish the actual fault, market replacement price, repair feasibility or a binding quote. Check a real repair professional’s diagnosis and costs.
Safety overrides economic scores
A swollen battery, abnormal heat, smoke, fire, electric damage or other physical hazard requires stopping use and following manufacturer/emergency guidance. No Othalon score or economic verdict makes an unsafe device safe. Do not attempt hazardous self-repair.
Source freshness and corrections
EPREL fields are linked to their source when available and last-update context is shown. Originating records can be incomplete, corrected or changed; Othalon does not control them, but identified mapping or presentation errors should be reported and corrected rather than excused by this notice.
