Where product identity, technical values and images originate.
European Product Registry for Energy Labelling
The catalogue is synchronized from the official EPREL Production API for smartphones and tablets. Every record retains its registration number, official link, provider status and local update date.
Product identity
Commercial name, model identifier and future GTIN/EAN fields are stored separately with field-level provenance. Othalon never invents a friendly name when the source supplies only a technical model identifier.
Product images
An EPREL model image is used only when its origin is approved and traceable. Otherwise Othalon shows a lightweight category placeholder. Images are not copied from search engines, retailers or unverified commercial pages.
How updates work
Othalon synchronizes EPREL in controlled batches and saves source data locally, so public pages remain fast and never contact EPREL during normal browsing.
Missing data
An absent value remains unavailable. It is not converted to zero, false or a plausible estimate. Coverage and reliability show how much data supports each assessment.
